Exit Permit Only (EPO) & Re-entry (ERP)
Concluding your time in Indonesia, changing jobs, or upgrading visa types requires strict formal procedures to officially cancel your active KITAS. Exit Permit Only (EPO): When a KITAS holder finishes their contract, resigns, or changes sponsors, their current KITAS must be officially cancelled through an EPO. Once issued, you have 7 days to leave the country. Failing to do so results in overstay fines and potential blacklisting. Exit Re-Entry Permit (ERP): If a foreigner has already left the country and decides not to return while their KITAS is still active, an ERP Not Returning must be processed to close the sponsor's liability. We handle EPOs and ERPs to legally close your active permits, satisfying the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration. This ensures your sponsor's quota is cleared and your immigration record remains pristine for future visits to Indonesia.
